DEMO Magazine Feature Story on Beverly Ridge Pictures

The Spring 2010 issue of Columbia College's popular DEMO Magazine was just released, and it features a full story on Beverly Ridge Pictures and its flagship feature, "Chicago Overcoat."  The article, "(Hopeful) Hit Men", includes interviews with all the company members, and an exclusive photo of the group.  The magazine is distributed to Columbia students, faculty, and alumni nationwide.  The story can be viewed online at the DEMO MAGAZINE WEBSITE


Chicago Overcoat Opens the 2010 Midwest Independent Film Festival

Chicago Overcoat was this year's opening film at the Midwest Independent Film Festival.  The festival has been named Chicago's "Best Bet" for 17 months in a row by Metromix, and is the only festival in the country to hold screenings all year round every first Tuesday of the month.  Thanks to everyone who joined us for cocktails, the screening, and afterparty at 6:00 pm on February 2, 2010 at Landmark's Century Centre Theatre (2828 N. Clark St.).

Special Holiday Screenings of Chicago Overcoat

Two Chicago Overcoat Special Holiday Screenings will take place on Sunday, December 27, 2009 at 2:00 pm and 5:30 pm at the Beverly Arts Center (2407 W. 111th St.).  In the spirit of the holidays, Beverly Ridge Pictures will be giving back to the community by donating half of the proceeds to the Beverly Arts Center, and the other half to the Maple Morgan Park Food Pantry.  Non-perishable food donations will also be accepted at the door to help feed the homeless.

Chicago Overcoat Screening at Columbia College

Columbia College is hosting a special Student, Faculty & Alumni screening of Chicago Overcoat at its Film Row Cinema (1104 S. Wabash Ave. 8th Floor) on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 7:00pm. In attendance will be Chicago Overcoat writer/director Brian Caunter, co-star Danny Goldring ("The Dark Knight") and the entire producing team at Beverly Ridge Pictures. We hope to see you there!

Click It or Ticket "Cops Everywhere" Spots Win an Emmy Award

The Beverly Ridge Pictures produced Click It or Ticket “Cops Everywhere” commercials just picked up an Emmy Award at the Chicago/Midwest Emmy Awards Ceremony on November 7, 2009.  Beverly Ridge was hired by Chicago-based ad agency Lou Beres & Associates last spring to shoot the three commercials, which had aired in May 2009.
